This book is based on the findings of a research project on Learning through Play in Malaysia Contexts. It offers a general overview of how play pedagogy being practiced in Malaysian preschools. This research is an attempt to investigate how learning through play is currently being implemented in preschool classrooms, how teachers’ perceptions may influence their actual practice and whether their practices are consistent with the requirements of the National Curriculum. It also tries to identify any factors that constrain or influence teachers’ practice.
